Important Updates for New SCA Regulations!
On 14 September 2019, new requirements for authenticating online payments known as Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) will be introduced in Europe.
SCA is a new European regulatory requirement to reduce fraud and make online payments more secure.
Does this affect me?
Any charge request to a bank or credit card in the EU may require the guest to authenticate via two-factor authentication.
European guests will require a new option to authenticate their cards.
European Tokeet users will require an option to authenticate the credit card used for their subscription. (If you already have a card on file, there is no need for you to do anything.)
In preparation for these new regulations, we have upgraded our systems in the following ways:
Tokeet's Billing Info page for subscription payments.
Signing up for Tokeet service will be as easy as before. The option to authenticate will be available should you need to do so.
Tokeet invoices sent to guests.
If required, guests will be automatically redirected to complete the authentication steps required by their bank or credit card.
