    • Card related triggers in Automata will be changing

      Dear users,

      Due to Tokeet’s implementation of Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) in the billing process, we will be removing all credit card triggers from our Automata application.

      Stripe’s implementation of SCA protocols means that we are no longer notified of specific card-related activities, and these trigger types are no longer valid. If you are currently using any of the following trigger events, please be advised that they will no longer fire, and will be removed from the application in the near future.

      • Card Accepted
      • Card Declined
      • Card Rejected
      • Card Deleted

      In the meantime, we will continue to explore new ways of making your billing notification workflow more efficient in the future. Please stay tuned for future announcements, as we have new and exciting billing enhancements already in the works. We look forward to hearing your feedback when they are officially announced. Thanks!

      Hi Blake. The Ignore for Booking.com feature does work with the Default rate. It applies to base, standard, promo, and group rates. Are you seeing different behavior in your use of the app? Also, are you referring to Rategenie or TV3?

      @Brightleap-Apartments Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the formatting of the updates, we will improve the descriptiveness of the fixes in future updates, within reason. Sorry if this list is not clear enough.

      As for #1 of the Q3 updates, I have sent you a PM on here, and I will send one via in-app live chat shortly. I would like some more information about the specifics of what you have experienced, as this issue was resolved a week ago. Some additional information would allow me to properly identify exactly what is happening in your account. Thank you.

      Hi. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have deployed a fix. Please clear your browser cache, and sign back into Tokeet in order to restore your hold events. Your channel calendars should not have been affected, but we advise that you check anyway, to verify. Please contact support via in-app live chat, if you encounter any difficulties. It will allow for easier ticketing and tracking.

      Hi Lam. Webready allows for multi-lingual websites. You can learn how to use the feature here: https://usewebready.com/help/webready-translator/webready-translator-languages

      I see that you have German and English on your website, but you have not enabled the language translator yet:

      In the editor, go to Language Settings, and enable the feature. This will allow your website to display in the different languages that you have selected.

      Hi Kaela. You read correctly, and we do connect to Airbnb, along with a lot of other channels. For connecting to Airbnb, it’s easy. Please follow the steps in this help guide to get started: https://www.tokeet.com/help/airbnb/connecting-to-airbnb-api

      One of the main benefits of a channel manager, is being able to connect to multiple channels, and have the calendars automatically sync. We recommend also listing on other API channels like Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, Agoda, and more. Each channel has a connection guide created for it, along with other supporting guides to explain other features.       Hi Henzel. Thank you for your question. You are able to integrate your 3rd party website with Sympl through the use of widgets. You can use the widgets to display the calendar availability, and/or you can use widgets to accept booking inquiries. You can then go on to manually confirm those inquiries after verifying the details with the guest. You can learn more about it in this help article here. To access widgets, just sign into the App Store to subscribe to the Website Widgets module.

      In order to integrate a bookable website with Sympl, I would like to recommend Webready. You can easily create a highly customizable website in seconds, and have it ready for publication in a matter of minutes. It really depends on your desired levels of customization. With the website, you can add a booking engine that will allow you to take instant bookings that instantly reflect in your Sympl calendar, and sync to your channels.

      If you want to use a custom domain with Webready, we can set you up with a free trial of the Standard Plan, so that you can benchmark your booking performance using your official domain.

      Is there a step by step process for starting with Tokeet? I would like to start with calendar syncing and setting prices in one place then pushing the to all channels. Where do I start first? Do you first add channels, rentals, rates, etc. I was hoping to see a tutorial for first timers.

      Yes. You will want to start by connecting Airbnb first, if you already have listings there. This greatly streamlines the setup process by allowing you to import your rentals directly from Airbnb.

      After that, you can continue connecting your other channels/OTAs. You can find all the steps for connecting to those channels in our Help Center.

      If you would like a guided setup, you can schedule an onboarding call with our Tokeet Success team.

      The onboarding call will allow you to ask any pending questions that you might still have, and we can provide you with a demonstration of the product as well. For more demos, you can also book a class in our Tokeet Academy.
